Memorial Tribute Christmas Tree
Christmas Memorial Tree
Today we launch our Memorial Tribute Christmas Tree, this gives families the opportunity to remember a loved one by placing a message on our Christmas Memorial Tree, for each memory placed we will make a donation to our chosen charity, which this year is Alzheimer Scotland. When deciding which charity to choose, we looked into the donations that had been taken at our services throughout the year and Alzheimer was a popular choice by many families.
Clydebank Funeral’s Community Involvement
We are often asked to donate to causes in the community and where possible we do what we can, one project which we became involved with in January 2017 is the Golden Friendship Club.

Alex Blair, has been helping bereaved families in the community for over 38 years, he told me “my role as a Funeral Director is not a job as such, it’s more a vocation”. When he is not working, Alex can often been found representing the company at events and presentations. He is often affectionately referred to by his families as “a very nice man”
Jim Gourlay, has over 40 years of service to the Society, Jim said “I pride myself in my dedication to providing a personal, caring service to the families I work with and my extensive experience helps me to offer the best possible advice and guidance”.
Scott Milton Dip.FA&A has gained a Diploma in Funeral Arranging and Administration and is our youngest Funeral Director, he enjoys working closely with families and helping them at this difficult time, his personal motto is “treat everyone’s loved one as though they are my own”.
We take pride in the fact that all of our Funeral Directors live locally and they have built good relationships not only with our families they serve but with people they work with such as Clergy, Florists and Caterers.
